What You'll Be Doing:
You lead client projects end-to-end and own the relationship throughout. You guide clients through their data, frame the questions that matter, and show the value of the Valona platform and our tailored intelligence work.
Lead projects from scope to delivery, accountable for quality and timelines.
Own the client relationship as their trusted sparring partner, leading quarterly and annual sessions.
Grow your accounts: spot expansion and upsell opportunities, and support new business with current and prospective clients.
Turn market and company data into forecasts and recommendations clients can act on.
Build clear models and visualizations that make decisions easy.
Mentor junior and medior analysts on your projects and raise the standard of the work around you.
Projects You’ll lead
Market assessments. Size the potential of key segments for large food and agriculture companies, using public and proprietary data to support investment and strategy decisions.
Competitive benchmarking. Run in-depth competitor reviews for major food clients and turn the findings into recommendations for senior management.
Market intelligence programmes. Deliver recurring competitor and industry intelligence, and add value to every client decision as their trusted sparring partner.
What Success Looks Like
First 30 days. You know our data systems, client profiles and team, and you're embedded in your accounts.
First 90 days. You lead client sessions and own day-to-day delivery.
First 180 days. You run your industry portfolio independently and develop growth within your accounts.
What you bring
3 to 5 years in strategy, consulting, FMCG or a similar role.
A track record of leading projects and managing client relationships.
Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with senior clients.
A commercial instinct: you see where an account can grow and you act on it.
A university degree, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
Fluent English. Dutch is not required, but a strong advantage.
